Sagittarius Horoscope for May 2011

The month of May is just made for you, dear Sagittarius! Last month we had a glorious buildup of planets in Aries that filled your house of true love. The problem was, Mercury was in retrograde from March 30 to April 23, and so Mercury added a bit of a wet blanket on things. If you reunited with an old lover, that was a good way to use the month, but if all your dates were with new prospective partners, well, dates may have turned out to be disappointing.
Now, in May, however, Mercury is moving direct, and your outlook is simply sensational. By a stroke of luck the planets that gathered together in April are still having such a good time, they decided to stay together longer! That unusual situation will benefit your love life in a big way!
As you begin May, you have no less than FIVE planets in your house of true love. Among them you will have Uranus, planet of surprise and spontaneity, and Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck. You will also have Mercury, bringing improved communication and lots of news, along with Venus ruling love, and Mars ruling action. Venus and Mars, when together in the same house, also increase magnetism and charm.
Many of these planets will be needed elsewhere soon, so most won't be able to stick around very long. Mars will be with you until May 11, Venus and Mercury will stay until May 15, and Jupiter will stay until June 4.
What about Uranus? Uranus just arrived in Aries on March 11 for the first time in 84 years (yes!), and will stay in your house of true love until May 2019. The large planets of our solar system, the ones that spin on the outer rim of our solar system, like Uranus, move very slowly and create trends that you experience for many years.
Uranus will add surprise and excitement to your house of love / pregnancy / children from now on, and fortunately, Uranus will remain in excellent, supportive angle to your Sun. When love arrives, it may arrive like a thunderbolt.
If you were born on or near November 22-26, plus four days (covering all Sagittarians born in November), you are currently getting some of Uranus' sweetest energies this month, and you will continue to do so throughout 2012. As I said, Uranus moves slowly, so if your birthday was not named, be patient, for you will have your turn in time. Every Sagittarius will benefit from the trend Uranus is setting up for your love life.
If you were born on December 14-22, you will benefit from Jupiter in Aries this month, for Jupiter is speaking directly to you. You have had to wait a long time for this (12 years to be exact), so wow, you really do have to be out and about. If you are attached, you will still have fun, and if you have children, one will make you very proud. This is your time, dear Sagittarius.
If your birthday was not named in connection with Jupiter, it means you already had received some shimmering vibrations from him earlier. You may have met someone earlier this year and not even know that this relationship could grow bigger. If you haven't met anyone and your birthday is not named, you may have several other planets in your natal chart now that will receive golden vibrations from Jupiter in Aries. Just be excited, confident, and optimistic - good energy will attract more good energy!
Here's the plan for May. Socialize as much as possible from May 1 to 11, before these supportive little planets trundle off into other parts of your chart. Of all the planets, Jupiter will be the most important, for once he leaves, he will not be back until May 2022. While you will, of course, enjoy love in coming years, what you may experience now could be extra special because finding love should be easier. Having Jupiter in a fellow fire sign and in your house of true love is certainly a wonderful benefit - it can help push things over the top.
If you are married, and hoping for a baby, Jupiter can help you conceive a baby or adopt one, so if it's possible to take action this month, I recommend that you do!

The first is May 1, when Mars and Jupiter will align in Aries for the first time since 1975! Mars meets with Jupiter approximately every two years, but for some reason does not meet in Aries - and that's where you need these two to be! The moon will be in Aries that day too, adding a nice boost to this day. This would be an ideal day for a first date, or a day to be out and about during an active, athletic weekend in the country. (Aries, the sign these planets are in, is an athletic sign, for sure!)
The next gold-star day will be May 10, when Venus AND Mercury will both meet with Jupiter in your house of true love. Amazing! This will be a wow of a day on so many levels! Your romantic, emotional life will reach new heights! If you are attached, your partner will delight you with a lovely show of affection. Friends will let you know how much they love you, too - and one may volunteer to play matchmaker (let her)! As a side bonus, your career will be on fire, too. This day is due to thrill you! Make sure to use it! Happily, the moon will be in fellow fire sign Leo, a perfect, luxurious place for the moon to be for you!

Perhaps being in love will enthuse you to go up another notch in fitness. Here is your chance to review your nutrition and exercise program and kick things up another notch.
This new moon May 3 will be your best buddy, for Pluto will help you achieve your goals in a way that had not been possible before. Pluto will be being VERY supportive, so harness this planet's energy to help reshape and transform into a new and improved you. Most people wait until January 1 to start their fitness resolutions, but that's not the time for you to do so, dear Sagittarius. If you wondered why it is hard to see results from those resolutions, perhaps you have always started at the wrong time! For you, the new moon in the sixth house, so beautifully angled to Pluto on May 3, is the right time, the best time of all of 2011!
The sixth house, where this new moon will be based, also rules projects and assignments, so new ventures should begin to flow to you now. It matters not if you are self-employed or work for others, you will be busy from now on. With Mars entering Taurus and your workaday sector too on May 15, you'll be busy in the coming seven weeks, for sure! As a matter of fact, you may have to hire some new recruits.
Pluto is currently touring your second house of income, so this tells me that you will have an opportunity to make a tidy sum of money from the new projects and ventures that come up within ten days of that new moon, May 3. If you are self-employed, look for new business. Your efforts will pay off handsomely - and quickly!
If you work in a creative profession or alongside creative people, say, if you represent them, for example, you will have a banner month. Ideas will rain down on you, and others will say, "Wow, you're on a roll!" The encouragement you get from higher ups and team members alike will keep you motivated and enthusiastic, and that's great because you will be coming up with innovative, imaginative concepts that will even impress YOU! (Later you may shake your head and wonder, where did that idea come from? No matter, just be glad it did come up.) Voice your thoughts, even if you feel a little hesitant.
