Lots of options will be presented now, and if you work in the media or hope for publicity for things you've done, you'll be in the right place at the right time. You will be the darling of Internet, television, radio, and print media, so write up that press release and put it on the wire.
Not only will those in your own country be interested in what you are doing, but those based abroad will, too. You will have Mars in your ninth house of news, journalism, and distant ports until December 7, so you'll have to get cracking if you want to be the subject of the morning news, here and in Mumbai.
Speaking of distant points, if you feel you'll scream if you don't take a vacation soon, this would be a good time to go. With the ruler of your house of travel positioned in your twelfth house, it's clear you don't want to sightsee historical ruins in seven cities in three days. Relaxing somewhere beautiful, like St. Barts, Rio de Janeiro, or Sedona, might be more your speed. Even a business trip to a pretty city would help you, and that's also possible, so spin your globe and make it happen.
Foreign people will be fortunate for you now, and you may be working on international diplomacy or the exchange of goods, services, or information. It is a terrific time to think in global terms, so whether you are self-employed or work for others, if you extend your reach outside your country's borders, you may generate generous profits now.
Mars will signal Saturn in a friendly way on November 15, a day when your agent, manager, representative, or business partner may be very helpful and worth his weight in gold.
Finances seem to concern you, and if you've been running low, your prayers may be answered just when you need an infusion of cash this month, just in the nick of time. You have four planets stacking up in your eighth house of other people's money - credit, loans, tax refunds, unemployment, and other insurance payouts, and also severance, child support, court settlements, and so forth.
This house does not rule salary that is parsed out each week to you in a paycheck. Instead it rules money you expect from a bank, credit card company, or from venture capitalists. It also covers money you need to pay bills. Your situation is probably a combination of both - you owe and are owed.
Your first sign that things are looking up will happen on November 4, when Mercury and Jupiter will place calls on your behalf. Talks going on behind the scenes will benefit you, but I am not sure if you know about them! You may be conducting the talks, or others may be talking about you, but either way, all the buzz about you will be very positive, so be confident!
The new moon November 6 will be helpful for generating cash, and it's the time you are likely to see the most come in during the weeks that follow. For once we have a truly friendly new moon, happy in every respect, and you can at least open talks with anyone who has not sent you a check you've anticipated but not seen. If the person you are talking with can't pay the full amount due, set up a payment plan. If you are ending a business and need to split profits, or ending a marriage and need to divide property, you can at least start the discussion now, at the new moon, November 6.
This new moon will also be helpful to make a large sale where you would make a commission, royalty, or other major sum. This new moon falls in Scorpio - a big money sign - and it will send a powerful beam to mighty Jupiter, the planet of good fortune. This is very lucky, for it means you will have fruitful talks. While things won't reach a final stage immediately (this is a new moon, ruling beginnings, not endings), the fact that you are starting at such a propitious time is significant. If the deal you are doing is a big one, it could take six months to finish. No matter! It's all good, dear Aries.
More good news! Three major planets will turn direct this month: Neptune, Venus, and Jupiter. That's amazing, for it means that your life is about to move on fast-forward very shortly. If you have felt you were stagnating, that won't be the case any longer.
Let's just look at each one. Neptune rules your behind-the-scenes sector and will move ahead on November 7. Because Neptune is also linked to your pals, you will get much more help from your friends in the months ahead. Watch the days that closely circle November 7 for a sign that at least one friend is really looking out for you!
Put a gold star on Monday, November 15, too, for the Sun and Jupiter will plot all sorts of good things for you! Very good financial news should arrive on this date. Your health will also improve, so if you need any sort of procedure, physical therapy, or rehab, Jupiter will send healing vibrations in mid-month. What a lovely time of the month this will be! It's close enough to November 18 (which I discuss below), so you will feel some of the radiant glow off what is happening then, too.
Venus and Jupiter will both turn direct on November 18. This will happen on the same day! Venus has to do with good looks, fun, fashion, culture, luxury, and enjoyment, so when Venus is out of phase, life moves into "no frills" phase. It is never a good idea to make radical changes to our appearance or to buy pretty things for our apartments either, for Venus won't be strong enough to help us see good results.
We are all so happy when Venus goes direct because we can move ahead on our plans to make ourselves more attractive and also to beautify our surroundings. If you put off getting engaged or married, you can now exchange rings and promises. Remember, December will be somewhat messy, so you will want to schedule your biggest actions this month rather than next month. Do so near November 19, if you like, or on the full moon, November 21.
Ever since I mentioned that Venus retrograde was not a time to get plastic surgery, the blogosphere has been rocking. People keep writing, "Can I be the exception?" Oh gee, I don't get to decide - the universe does. It made me feel badly. I always want to say yes, but you see, I am bound by what I see. One lady wrote to me on Facebook to say her daughter was having her nose redone that month, while Venus was retrograde. I hope the operation came out as she had hoped. I keep thinking about her.
I would not have taken the chance to schedule a cosmetic procedure then, but when the lady wrote to me on Twitter (@astrologyzone), she said she didn't know Venus was retrograde. I don't think she knew astrology or had read my column before. Sometimes things do work out when a major planet retrogrades, especially if the operation had been scheduled and rescheduled a few times before the day of the procedure. Now I can't sleep until I know if her daughter is OK and happy with the results. I was a little unsure how to respond on Facebook, so if you are the kind lady who wrote to me, know I am thinking about your daughter all the time.
Fortunately Venus won't go retrograde again until May 15 to June 27, 2012. This is good to know if you are planning to get engaged or have an expensive party or wedding. Don't do it during these dates in 2012, which is, of course, two years away.
This month, as of November 18, Venus will be back in fine form, and we will all look better as a result. You can go to your stylist and try that radically changed hairstyle, or buy expensive jewels and clothing. You can treat yourself to that luxury massage or book a weekend spa. If you need to fix up your home with pretty touches, you can now. Communicating love between couples will become easier. Many people don't realize that Venus is also associated with profits, so it will be fine to sign contracts as of November 18.
The Jupiter is the giver of gifts and luck, and the fact that Jupiter is going direct speed as of November 18 is even more significant. Having Jupiter retrograde is like having your favorite boss on vacation. You can't get any of the plum assignments, as they just languish on his desk unassigned, and when your check is late three weeks, he can't intervene to help you get paid. Everything grinds to a halt.
Signing a contract or starting a major business venture while Jupiter is retrograde is not advised, as profits will always be held down during the life of the endeavor. It's sometimes hard to wait for Jupiter to turn back to direct speed, because he retrogrades for months - he went retrograde on July 23. So be smart and wait until Jupiter goes direct to sign papers, for all concerned will make more money. It's a win-win situation to wait until November 18.
If you've been out of work, I am so happy to tell you this news about Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune going direct, for as said before, December and January will bring lots of activity to your prestigious career sector. Mercury will retrograde during most of next month, from December 10 to 30, but you will feel the slowdown earlier, as soon as December begins. That makes the end of November especially important and potent.
It's fine to talk about your new position anytime in November, but don't give your final answer until January. I feel the solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 4 could bring up some excellent options too, and may be more attractive than anything you hear about in December. With Jupiter moving at swift speed toward Aries, to enter in the third week of January too, you are about to be showered with good luck. You are so very close to a period that will positively glow - one of the best phases for you in over a DECADE.
I love Friday, November 19, too, for the Sun and Uranus will be cooking up some really fun events for you. On this day, your mind will crackle with ideas, as well, so it would be great to apply your thinking to an artistic project.

Speaking about this aspect, Mercury in hard angle to Uranus leads me to another point. The holidays are coming, and I had mentioned that it would be wise not to shop in December, due to Mercury in retrograde. You can't shop on Black Friday or Saturday either - Saturday, November 27 - due to Mercury (commerce and transportation) in hard angle (reversals) to Uranus (unexpected developments).
If you have someone special to buy a gift for on your list, do shop in the first three weeks of November. Retailers will have special sales, and they will have stock, so take advantage while you can.
Now that Mars, your ruler, is out of your eighth house, you won't have the high expenses you experienced from September 14 through October 28. That will be a big relief! On top of this, Venus, by then strong and sturdy, will move back into Scorpio on November 29, and brighten your eighth house of credit and financial obligations.
